AIM Association

The AIM Association was founded in 1962 as a financial services group. Frank Winger is the father of Kelli Winger Smart. Frank Winger became associated with AIM after graduating from Brigham Young University in June 1972.
In March of 2009, one of its brokers, Brian Jared Smart, the son-in-law of the founder, was accused by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for Security Fraud Civil Action No. 2:09-cv-00224-DAK.
The company website states that it offers the following advice: Mortgage, Life and Disability: Retirement Planning: Estate Planning. According to court documents it was those aspects that were exploited by Brian Jared Smart in his Ponzi operation.
