Action! is a an advanced Windows screen recorder and PC game recording software developed by software company Mirillis. It allows LIVE streaming and real-time video recording of Windows desktop and PC games in HD and Ultra HD video quality. Action! includes a handy manager for screen and game recordings. With this manager it is possible to playback (using internal player or system media player), delete or export recordings to various services and formats.
Action! uses a near-lossless (optimized for multi-core CPUs) Mirillis video codec (FICV) in AVI 2.0 OpenDML. It can also capture Windows desktop or game video directly to MP4 file format with AMD APP, Nvidia NVENC or Intel Quick Sync hardware acceleration (using H.264/AVC or H.265/HEVC encoding). The maximum recording resolution is 4096x4096.
Action! can live-stream gameplays, videos and desktop activity to Twitch.tv, YouTube, Facebook, Hitbox, Ustream and custom RTMP servers.
Users can also add audio commentary, own alpha blended logo or watermark, webcam overlays (with background removal using chroma key or Intel RealSense technology), capturing high quality screenshots and many others useful features.
Action! free version can be tested for 30 days. During that period a watermark is added to recorded/streamed video. Video recordings are unlimited in time during the trial period. Screenshot capturing and sound recording is also not limited in the trial version.
