A new American Airlines 777-300 takes off from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. This airport is the airline's largest hub.

American Airlines flies to 80 domestic destinations and 83 international destinations in 49 countries. (as of September 2013)[citation needed] The list includes the city, country, and the airport's name, with the airline's hubs, focus cities and seasonal destinations marked. The list includes destinations after American received a single operating certificate with the now defunct US Airways. The list also contains destinations no longer served by the airline, which are marked as terminated destinations. It does not include destinations served for American Airlines by its regional affiliate American Eagle.

An American Airlines 777-200 landed in Narita International Airport.
