They were recorded for Reinfred de Arundel (d. circa 1280), lord of the manor of Lanherne, Cornwall, in the 15th-century Shirley Roll of Arms

John Arundell (by 1527-90), of Lanherne, St. Mawgan-in-Pyder, Cornwall, was an English politician.

Arundell was a Member of the Parliament of England for Helston 1545, Shaftesbury 1547, Preston 1555 and Cornwall 1558.[1]
