Narok County

Narok County is an [[Counties of Kenya|County] in Kenya. The Narok County is located in the former Rift Valley Province, and has a population of 365,750. Its capital town is Narok.
Along with Kisii District, Narok County has been identified as having the highest level of practice of female genital cutting in the country, despite the practice being outlawed in 2001. [1]
In 1994, Trans Mara District was split from Narok District.
