The Shire of Hindmarsh is a Local Government Area in the far west of Victoria, Australia. The shire has an area of 7,527 km², a population of 6,039 (2006 census) and includes the towns of Dimboola, Nhill Rainbow and Jeparit. It was formed in 1995 from the merger of the Shire of Lowan and Shire of Dimboola.
