Sports Backers Stadium is used throughout the year by various parties including the soccer and college athletics teams from Virginia Commonwealth University, and Virginia Union University.

Occasionally, the stadium hosts the Richmond Kickers Future, a reserve team for the Richmond Kickers, and the Richmond Kickers Destiny women's team.
